The Madison Greenhouse Banquet and Chapel is uniquely landscaped as a tropical paradise available all year. At night, miniature lights illuminate the ceiling and the tropical trees, creating a starry night indoors like no other. The Madison Greenhouse was first built as a greenhouse to grow plants, and therefore creates conditions that are unique when compared to traditional wedding halls.
The roof is made of clear plastic so that the plants get the light needed for survival. However, that also creates heat. While we do try to shade the greenhouse from the sun as much as we can in the summer, the greenhouses can be quite warm at times. As we cannot air-condition the greenhouses (as it will damage the plants), we do have industrial-sized cooling fans which help circulate the air within the greenhouse, which make the indoors more comfortable by the evening.
